José Ignacio Estradé Morante
Lawyer, member of the ICAM, passionate about the Criminal Law у Penitentiary Law, of the Commercial Lawl and Artificial Intelligence in the legal profession as a way to increase productivity, promote work-life balance and improve mental health in the profession. Humanistic approach in the practice of law. I combine my work with my studies of Criminology at UNED as a complement to my professional profile.
I belong to the Board of Directors of Ahora Abogacía Social and Restorative Justice actions. I am a regular contributor to the magazine Conectados, published by the CEF-UDIMA Group, and to the radio program Crónica Negra, on Radio Castilla La Mancha.
I am also a Civil, Commercial and Family Mediator, with specialization in Criminal and Penitentiary Mediation. Member of ASEMED and the Madrid Association of Mediators (AMM).
I was one of the awardees with Orion Blue in the Legal Entrepreneurship Lab of the Fundación Mutualidad de la Abogacía, 2021 and finalist with NeXtlaw in 2022.
Finally, I have extensive experience as national and international CFO, as responsible for Due Diligences internationalization of companies, or designing and executing Contractual Management projects.
Lorena Sánchez Merino (Of Counsel)
Lawyer at ICAM, specialized in Immigration, Commercial and Civil Law. I practice putting families and individuals at the center of my professional development.
I am a Mediator registered with the Ministry of Justice, specialized in Civil, Commercial and Family Mediation.
As a professional intervener of Gender Violence I have had the opportunity to develop the appropriate technical tools to address conflicts from empathy and assertiveness.
María Llamas (Student)
I am a 4th year law student with a deep passion for criminal and penitentiary law. I am currently doing an internship at Estradé Law Firm together with his team, where I have the opportunity to see real cases, attend trials and depositions, visit clients in the penitentiary and study legal strategies.
I advocate for accessible and humane justice for all.
My journey in the world of law began in 2021 when I started my career. Since my second year, thanks to luris (Student Association), I started to attend trials as a public audience and I saw first-hand the work performed by lawyers. That's where I fell in love with criminal law.
In one of the first trials I attended as a student, I had the pleasure of meeting José Ignacio Estradé and seeing more closely his humanistic vision of the legal profession, confirming that it is very similar to the one I had. This opportunity has allowed me to acquire knowledge and expand my relationships in the field of law.
In this profession you have to know how to connect with people, listen to them actively, understand their concerns and offer them a humane treatment and be able to help them from a close point of view.
